The Team

The Site Merchandising team at Tommy.com is dedicated to optimizing online customer journeys, focusing on increasing session conversion rates. We aim to enhance product discovery, cart creation, and conversion rates by leveraging demand from various traffic sources.

The Position

In your role as Site Merchandising Manager, you'll be a key member of the TH Ecommerce Trade team, working in synergy with the Buying, Planning, and Content departments. Additionally, you'll engage with the broader Digital Sales organization, including Platform Operations and Customer Experience, to drive in-season trading and digital product innovation.

  • Develop and implement high-level site merchandising strategies for effective promotional activations, including seasonal sales and peak.

  • Optimize on-site elements like product ranking, recommendations, navigation, and search to improve user experience and conversion.

  • Analyse and enhance funnel performance, focusing on micro-conversion rates and on-site behaviour.

  • Collaborate with the Planning team on conversion rate optimization, forecasting, and on-site product lifecycle management.

  • Maintain accurate site analytics, evolve reporting practices, and provide expert on-site analysis.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in site merchandising and digital setup, recommending process improvements.

  • Oversee the implementation and progress tracking of Site Merchandising objectives within the Digital Sales OKR framework.

  • Mentor and guide junior specialist, accountable for on-site automation and tool configuration.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Over 6 years of professional experience in Ecommerce trade within direct-to-consumer or pure player environments, including at least 4 years in a relevant role.

  • Strong digital proficiency and commercial insight, with excellent analytical abilities focused on product, merchandising, and digital performance indicators.

  • Experience with site merchandising tools is essential, with a particular interest in candidates who are proficient in FredHopper, the tool of choice at PVH.

  • Proven track record and demonstrated confidence in successfully delivering complex activations and digital merchandising strategies.

  • Skilled in analytics and reporting across various platforms; knowledge of SQL, BigQuery, and familiarity with AWS, SAP BW, Adobe Analytics considered a plus.

  • Effective stakeholder management skills, capable of building trust and engaging with internal and external partners.

  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and adept at navigating a matrix organization structure.
