The Manager Retail Partner will evolve, manage and execute Under Armour’s Retail strategy the Under Armour partner stores (Distributors) in Europe. Drive and achieve the store opening plans, sales and profitability goals. Secure proper execution of Under Armour’s Retail Standards in stores through leading, developing and managing constructive, productive and professional relationship with Under Armour Retail partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Spar and align with Under Armour retail and distributor leaders on long-term expansion plan and fulfillment of plan accordingly, signed off by DTC & Sales leadership team.
Plan and co-ordinate new store / websites openings in conjunction with Partner and internal team
Drive implementation of operation excellence initiatives defined in conjunction with retail & distributor leaders (e.g. training programs, mystery shopping initiative, Best practice sharing from
Together with the Under Armour distributor team, set financial and operational targets for all stores / website and create actions to achieve and improve them on a frequent base.
Ensure each partner plan and execute the DTC seasonal strategies, and that store has adequate marketing, merchandise planning and buying to achieve financial targets and brand positioning.
Spar, support and lead Partner teams to achieve targeted KPIs, and provide feedback to DTC & Distributor team about business status and needs for improvement of stores’ performance.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
TECHNICALS ATRIBUTES OF IDEAL CANDIDATE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
University degree in business management, ideally with marketing and sales focus.
Strong ability to collaborate inclusively in a divers and multicultural environment
Strong in driving improvement and operational execution
8 years of retail experience, preferably within the sports or apparel industry in Europe
Fluent in English, further languages are a plus (Italian, French or/and Spanish).
Knowledge of non-US markets ideally attained through living/working in multiple countries.
Multinational reporting and willingness to travel locally and internationally.
