Job Purpose

As our next Leadership & Development Programs Lead, you'll report directly to the Head of Learning & Development, contributing to the overall L&D strategy and nurturing a culture of continuous learning within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership Trainings & Development Programs:

  • Develop and implement a global strategy for leadership and managerial learning, enhancing competencies and effectiveness of leaders.

  • Collaborate with external providers to create engaging curriculum content aligned with business objectives.

  • Ensure delivery of interactive training sessions employing various instructional techniques.

    Coaching & Mentoring:

    • Establish global coaching and mentoring programs to support individuals at all levels, nurturing their professional growth.
    • Develop internal and external coaching networks, ensuring coaches possess necessary skills.
    • Supervise pairing of mentees with suitable coaches, monitoring progress and providing support.

    Communication Campaigns & Learning Culture Promotions:

  • Design annual communication plans to engage individuals and promote a positive learning culture.

  • Utilize various channels to disseminate information and celebrate learning achievements.

    Development Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify development needs and talent gaps.

  • Offer feedback and guidance to employees on assessment results, aiding in formulating actionable development plans.

    Facilitation

  • Lead group discussions and team-building activities to bolster leadership skills and induce behavioural change.

  • Act as a mentor to other facilitators, sharing best practices and fostering facilitation excellence.

    Contract Management and Partnership

  • Select suitable providers and establish engagement terms within budgetary constraints.

    Desired Qualifications/Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Master’s degree or certifications advantageous.

    • 3-5 years' experience in learning and development or related roles.

    • Proficient in needs assessments and development assessments.

    • Skilled in facilitating group discussions and workshops.

    • Experience in project management and budgeting.

    • Familiarity with learning methodologies and technologies.

    • Experience in multicultural environments.

    • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

    • Passion for developing others and driving performance.

    Additional Info

    Location: Amsterdam – we offer hybrid working as a mix of working remotely and from the office.

    Start date: July 2024, with a full-time permanent contract.

    Travel required: 20% of the time
