Amherst. Brooks & Whittle. Material Handler. FT. Benefits. $18.00- $20.00/Hour.

Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm

Job Duties: Efficiently operate a pallet jack, forklift, reach truck, and straight box truck (non-CDL) Perform monthly inventory counts.
Understands and supports all policies, procedures, instructions, rules, and regulations (including safety) associated with the warehouse department. Consults with department manager, press hall supervisor and Quality Assurance on defective raw material. Assist in investigating root cause analysis & corrective actions for departmental needs. Relocate excess raw material rolls from press hall once job is finished. Responsible for complete & accurate information when signing for and receiving shipments. Informs purchasing of any discrepancies before receiving into system. Maintain a neat organized and safe warehouse environment for all employees. Ensures material is staged and accessible. Identify and help implement process improvements and increased efficiency opportunities.

Requirements: Must be able to follow & comprehend oral, written, and/or visual instructions. Must have general computer skills. Must be able to multi task. Must have good organizational skills.
