Job Title: Packaging Operator

Location : Ames, IA

Pay : $16 - $19

Shift : 7pm- 7am (2-2-3) Rotating Shift

Job Description:

  • Responsible for working on an automated packaging line, ensuring the quality of the pasta produced.

  • Duties include pulling products off the line and checking the quality of the boxing, as well as verifying the accuracy of the barcodes.

  • Assisting operators with cleanup, breaking down cartons and cases, transporting cartons and cardboard to the compactor for recycling, and making sure all area totes are in place and used correctly.

  • Help relieve other packaging operators during break times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-High school diploma/GED

-1+ years of previous work experience in production or food manufacturing and a general working knowledge of computers is preferred, but not required.

-Some mechanical and general computer knowledge is preferred.

-Lift up to 50lbs

-Comfortable on their feet for the entire shift
