Ohio, OH, United States 19936_R202437654 Cox Automotive The Business Analyst will leverage skills in business requirement gathering and data analysis to provide clear solutions to support the Collateral Management Service business. The ideal candidate should have experience analyzing contractual agreements, developing custom reports, and supplying meaningful insight to inform and influence best outcomes for the business. The Business Analyst works independently with limited supervision in analyzing contractual agreements and conducting financial impact analysis for changes to the business such as pricing, product, and operational process, and will support compliance management activities. Such activities could include but are not limited to providing client requested documentation in support of client compliance audits, assisting with internal auditing to ensure that contractual obligations are met and that our organization remains in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. The Business Analyst will also assist implementing relevant process changes as a result of updates to federal and state laws. From time to time, he/she will assist in business compliance activities that will help ensure the contracts and services are represented as intended. He/she effectively tracks, reports on existing reviews and progress as well as supporting ad hoc data/reporting/insight requests. He/she detects risks to the business and alerts management team with concerns. PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES Contract Analysis: Review existing and proposed lender agreements, SOWs, amendments, etc. Engage legal resources, when necessary, to help ensure corporate alignment and mitigate risks. Financial Analysis: Analyze and report financial impacts to CMS and/or clients as it relates to pricing increases, RFPs, and special projects. Level of Effort Origination: Partner with Operations for LOE service requirement analysis for new, existing, revised, or customized services and recommend pricing. Process Improvement: Assist with creating operational baselines, evaluating efficiency, and measuring/reporting success of ongoing services and special projects. Compliance: Support client, partner, internal and DMV audits. Draft responses to audit findings and work with the business to implement new controls and/or action plans. Influence Decisions: Influence leadership and/or decision makers to pursue optimal solutions where practicable . Travel : Less than 20% business travel per year. Includes but is not limited to Wilmington, OH and Sacramento, CA. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years experience in a related field A passion for empirical research and for answering tough questions with data. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and listening skills. Requires strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.), as well as proficiency in remaining MS Office Applications Superior organization and time management skills Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners, and act as an effective team player. Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred. Financial services or automotive experience preferred.
