FMC SERVICES LLC Staff Accountant in AMARILLO, Texas

We are a network of medical offices seeking a Staff Accountant for our Amarillo Corporate Office. We are an amazing team dedicated to high quality patient care. We are seeking a phenomenal, career-oriented addition who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

The Staff Accountant is an integral member of the accounting team and assists the Chief Financial Officer in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

Job Summary:

  • Handle the monthly closing process.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
  • Daily reporting of cash/bank position.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the General Ledger, maintaining current balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Responsible for assisting and monitoring the Account Payable functions to ensure that vendors are paid timely and according to policy.
  • All the above in accordance with Corporate, Federal, State, and Local Regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • Must be proficient in Excel at an intermediate level or better
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Accountant, preferably in healthcare
  • MandA experience is a plus
  • CPA is encouraged, but not required
