Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with expertise in Application Development and Service Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing applications, as well as ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of IT services. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in application development and service management.

Responsibilities:

  • Application Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications to meet business requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.

  • Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code using programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Angular.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in application development.

  • Service Management:

  • Oversee the delivery and performance of IT services, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Identify and resolve service incidents and problems in a timely manner.

  • Manage service requests and change requests, ensuring proper documentation and communication.

  • Continuously monitor and improve service processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement IT service strategies and roadmaps.

What do you need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in Application Development and Service Management.

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Angular, or Python.

  • Experience with web application development frameworks (e.g., Spring, Django).

  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).

  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
