We are looking for a Frontend Developer (m/f/d) to join our Digital Services Team!

Your new field of work - challenging and future-oriented:

  • Railigent converts the variety of customer train data into an intelligent, customized user interface. From highly aggregated reports for the management level to remote monitoring of customer rail systems, rapid diagnosis, or preventive error prediction to detailed root cause analysis for maintenance in the depot.

  • You will be responsible for the development and operationalization of data-based software solutions on the Railigent cloud platform.

  • Together with your colleagues, you analyze requirements and translate them into efficient, maintainable, and scalable source code.

  • In addition, you develop a generic UI/UX framework for web applications and mobile apps.

  • Life cycle management (quality assurance, maintenance, and documentation) of existing software solutions and working in the existing DevOps team are also part of your tasks.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience and extensive knowledge in the area of planning and implementing UI/UX frameworks.

  • You are experienced in using Angular 15+ based responsive web UIs, common web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the Java 11+ programming language.

  • Ideally, you also have in-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as GitLab, as well as programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL and agile development methods.

  • Ideally, you have knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, Beanstalk, S3, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, EC2) and experience with microservice architectures and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with Testing and Quality Assurance Tools and Techniques, like: TDD, etc.

  • Proficient English level, German skills are a must.
