Southland Holdings Heavy Equipment Lube Technician Burleson, TX in Alvarado, Texas

A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated full-time Lube Technician to join our team. The Lube Service Technician performs lube services and minor repairs in the field or shop. The Lube Service Technician will perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible.

Responsibilities:  

• Performs lube service on equipment as assigned - provides lubrication/greasing as needed, checks fluid levels as needed • Performs minor repairs. Example: leaking hoses

• Cleans shop area as directed

• Assists other technicians as required

• Follows all safety rules and policies at all times

• Performs other duties as requested by the supervisor

• Ability to work overtime, and travel 

Lube Technician Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• One (1) year of similar work experience in a similar work environment

• Demonstrated basic mechanical knowledge covering oil changes

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English

• Class B CDL Preferred 

• Pushes/Pulls/Lifts/Carries up to 75 pounds without assistance

• Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead

• Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold and wet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors associated with the shop/field

• Physical ability to perform the job functions throughout 10 hour workday

• This role may require overtime, overnight stays, and occasional weekend work.

• Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in a functional condition
