About the role

A professionally certified CDL driver who has a tanker certificate and is certified to haul product to a customer. Must be a safe driver and always courteous to our customers.

Key responsibilities

1.Maintain and inspect tractors and trailer are in road worthy condition and safe

2.While in transit,

3.Focus on safety.

4.Obey DOT/Traffic regulations

5.Navigate routes and through traffic

6.Deliver production to customers door and pump product of the trailer as directed by customer

7.Monitor deliveries to ensure there are no spills of product and/or changes to product in transit

8.Pick up and monitor the filling of alcohol to be delivered to the plant from the rail terminal (or vender facility), as directed

9.Maintain e-logs so that all drivers are in compliance with DOT regulations

10.Verify shipment paperwork to ensure consistent quality of delivery.

Qualifications and skills

A. EDUCATION:High school diploma or GED. Current Class A Commercial Drivers License with Tanker Endorsement

B.EXPERIENCE:Clear driving record that meets DOT requirements, Hazmat Certification Preferred, Minimum 21 years of age, 100,000 miles driving experience or completion of a certified truck driving school, 2 years recent OTR experience preferred, Experience in the bulk tanker industry

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift minimum 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Ability to use a ladder or work from heights as needed.

Ability to move large equipment (Tractor/Trailer/Etc).

Ability to sit for extended period of time

Ability to give complete attention to detailed work

Ability to work alone
