Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

Role Summary

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm (Overtime expectations when needing to cover another S/R Clerk vacation/call in would be Saturday 11am-7pm)

Pay: Starts at $23.85 (Base pay $22.85 plus $1 for off shift)

Generates and maintains an account all materials, transfers and receipts throughout the plant using the MRP system.

Oversees incoming/outgoing trucks and shipments of materials and parts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Performs alphanumeric data entry operations as required to receive all incoming materials into the inventory system with real time transactions

  2. Receives all small package shipments as required verifying incoming material against packing slip/purchase order for accuracy

  3. Investigation of supplier shipment discrepancies

  4. Report over/under shipments to supplier and supervisor for immediate resolution

  5. Performs other related material transaction activities as required

  6. Participates in problem solving and continuous improvement activities

  7. Performs C-TPAT container/trailer inspections as require

  8. Understand responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. Cooperate with OSHA MIOSHA inspectors. Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. Follow all safety rules. Report unsafe conditions immediately. Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage immediately. Will not remove or make ineffective any protective device such as a guard, light curtain, etc. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment that the employee is not trained to operate. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment in a manner that may endanger any employee including themselves.

Shipping/Receiving:

  • Calculates shipping requirements from shippers and pulls shipments

  • Communicates shortages/problems to appropriate personnel

  • Conducts inventory of products

  • Operates Fed-Ex and UPS computers

  • Enters receipts into BAAN

  • Maintains receiving files

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Education/Experience

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  2. Six months experience in receiving related field preferred

  3. Industrial truck driving permit is helpful.

  4. Industrial shipping/warehouse experience, preferred.
