Next Level Business Services, Inc. Sr. Systems Administrator in Alpharetta, Georgia

A Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective and efficient provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of data center hardware and related infrastructure. In addition, this covers the adoption of processes and procedures guarantying the implementation of system hardware and related procedures that adheres with technology direction and policies. Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware. Investigates and troubleshoots minor issues. Provides Level 2 support per request from end users. Maintains operational, configuration, or other procedures. Contributes to and maintains system standards. -Researches and recommends innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for sys admin tasks. -Provides Level 3 support per request from end users. Investigates and troubleshoots physical hardware and network issues. Repairs/recovers from hardware failures; coordinates and communicates with impacted end users. Ensures proper data center capacity planning is in place. Ensures the effective and efficient physical hardware and network setup and operation.

This position is responsible for the Hardware instillation including servers. Primary location is in Alpharetta. Resources will need to drive between this location and the main campus. This is an evening position.

IT Facilities Team is responsible for: IT Governance of all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, escorting, preventative maintenances and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room critical environment equipment IT support of IT Labs to align our client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware and access to test their application Remote coordination in partnership with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms Management, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment Development of data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure Support IT Facilities Campus Fiber Ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta Airport and Campus Facilities underground fiber ring. Recommending and implementing departmental policy, guidelines, standards, and procedures. Assures compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines. Project management of data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements Selection of IT and Critical Facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, securing best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.

Quals-- Data Center infrastructure project build-outs and planning for rack, stack, and cabling of IT hardware. IT hardware and network cabling adds, moves, changes, and retirements. Provide proactive and break fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to data center equipment. Adhere to data center design standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure. Strict adherence to the Change Management window 10PM - 6AM.
