Innova-Tech Solutions Corp. Financial Manager Assistant in Alpena, Michigan

Innova-Tech Solutions Corp. is seeking a Financial Manager Assistant to join its team working with multiple industrial sales and manufacturing businesses. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented assistant to support our financial management team. This role will be responsible for conducting data analysis, fulfilling requests for financial information, identifying trends, and providing administrative support to financial managers.

Responsibilities:

Investigating issues and proposing actions:

  • Monitor metrics and trends and report meaningful conclusions.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports, charts, graphs, and other visualizations to summarize findings.

Developing projections:

  • Work with business unit leaders to gather key data.
  • Develop and present sales, costs, and profit projections for the upcoming 12-24 months.

Other Activities and tasks:

  • Fulfill requests for financial information and reports from management
  • Identify financial trends, outliers, or risks and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Maintenance of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Identify and help resolve/offer guidance on issues with current processes.

Requirements:

  • Education related to Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, or Analytics is preferred.
  • Some experience in organizing large volumes of data and creating visual representation is desired.
  • Passion for data analysis
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • The ability to work effectively in collaboration with other people.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel. Skills and experience using VLOOKUP, pivot tables, 'If' statements, etc. are essential.
