Citigroup Credit Risk Operations Senior Analyst in Almaty, Kazakhstan

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely escalation to Manger or high management all identified issues related to any violations with Local legislation, contradictions with Citi provisions or Operational procedures, containing negative customer impact,

  • Oversight monitoring under controls sequence,

  • Timely and accurate adaptation of new functions into unit procedural documents and keep unit staff informed,

  • Timely and accurate provide internal or external requestor with information owned by the unit.

  • Participate in credit preparation, approval and control processes including:

  • document reviews;

  • document verification according to Credit Policies and local requirements before proceeding to release it in the credit system;

  • maintenance of credit dossier documentation as per local regulatory requirements.

  • Local regulatory Reporting, Monitoring Process in line with local compliance regulations

  • Documentation Monitoring: Monitoring of documentation deficiencies/deferrals/expired documents, escalation/reporting to the management.

  • Data Quality Control: Generate/monitor reports, assess changes, detect and resolve errors. Support business units by creatively responding to information needs, contributing to development of appropriate Optima/CRC reports and other tools

Requirements:

  • University degree is preferred

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of legislative and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international legislation governing the activities of the credit administration unit

  • Consistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills both in English and Russian.

  • Ability to perform tasks accurately and meet challenging deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.

  • Self-motivation and attention to details
