We are looking for an Intern to join our Application and Process Technology team. In this role you will support our team with specific market development and process engineering work for our green process solutions.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of technical and sales and marketing material for selected separation/purification technologies

  • Market research for selected separation/purification technologies

  • Support senior process, sales and application engineers in their day to day work

  • Improve functionality and design of selected internal tools and templates used for process design and sales of chemical plants

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor or Master level student in Chemical or Process Engineering

  • Be familiar with chemical engineering activities (process simulation, unit operations)

  • Some experience with a process simulation tool such as ProII, Chemcad, AspenPlus or HYSIS or equivalent is an advantage

  • Fluent in English, and any other language is an advantage

  • Good organizational skills, team player, critical thinker

The Application and Process Development team is part of the Process Plants department at Sulzer Chemtech.

Location : We are based in Allschwil. This is a great growing place and is just next to the nice city of Basel, accessible via bus and tram.
