Responsible for the coordination of Maintenance work in assigned area.
Ability to troubleshoot all systems and phases of the operation;
Ability to communicate at all levels within the plant;
Responsible for plant security & safety;
Assign work orders to skill level employees as necessary;
Ensure the proper use of the central stores area;
Handle and coordinate with all departments to provide effective operations.
Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately.
Prevent excess waste of product and/or components by operating the equipment in an efficient manner.
Maintain production schedules.
Work with groups in initiating and implementation of programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.
Other duties may be assigned at a later time.
Education required/ preferred:
High School diploma or GED. Minimum of two years technical trade school or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Industrial experience in a similar industry preferred.

Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office package
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
