St. Luke's University Health Network Provider Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist in Allentown, Pennsylvania

The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist (Provider Recruitment) supports and works closely with the provider recruitment team and is responsible for lead and applicant generation. The provider talent acquisition sourcing specialist uses a broad range of sourcing mechanisms to develop a pipeline of pre-qualified leads for the provider recruitment team and is responsible for generating and monitoring marketing and sourcing initiatives throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This individual will actively engage and participate in the development of innovative and strategic sourcing initiatives to make SLUHN an employment destination of choice for providers.

  • Responsible for sourcing of leads via ad creation and maintaining and updating job postings in Workday, recruitment websites/platforms, journal ad placement sites, and resident/fellow outreach for all specialties.

  • Researches and presents on industry trends and proactively updates sourcing strategies to ensure provider candidate pipelines are being maximized.

  • Assists in conducting pre-screening activities (ie: CV review, candidate phone screen) with provider candidates, as needed.

  • Assists the provider recruitment team in the development of unique recruitment initiatives, including attracting passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, name generation and internet mining.

  • Meets with applicable provider recruitment and service line leadership members on a consistent basis to proactively understand operational needs, evaluate success of applied sourcing techniques, and develop strategies to best support provider recruitment efforts.

  • Works in collaboration with SLUHN marketing department to develop recruitment brand, ad templates, flyers, direct mail pieces, banners, direct mail, and list generation.

  • Acts as social media resource for the department; manages social media and branding for all avenues that are appropriate for recruitment in collaboration with the marketing department.

  • Represents and coordinates event participation with recruitment team at various conferences, career days, including in-person and virtual career fairs, open houses, and other recruitment activities to attract qualified applicants.

  • Responsible to assist in the updating and managing of any provider referral programs by building relationships and communicating frequently with our established residency programs and employed providers to increase awareness for these programs and available opportunities.

  • Secondary administrator for all software applications utilized for sourcing. Helps to manage all vendor contracts and renewals, in addition to ongoing evaluation of new vendor options and cost containment.

  • Assists in managing reporting processes centered around ROI and effectiveness of all sourcing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives. Responsible for adherence to the sourcing budget and reconciliation, as needed, of all invoicing in collaboration with the Director of Provider Services and Recruitment and/or Senior Sourcing Specialist.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.

  • Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.

  • Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external).

  • Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety.

  • Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices.

  • Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for up to eight hours per day, 3 hours at a time. Standing and walking as necessary. Fingering and handling frequently, twisting and turning of hands occasionally. Pushing and pulling. Occasionally stoops, bends, squat, kneel and reach above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general and near vision.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree is preferred. Associates degree and minimum 1-year experience in healthcare talent acquisition is required OR high school diploma and minimum 3-years of experience in healthcare talent acquisition required. PHR, SHRM-CP certification a plus.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Relevant experience in Talent Acquisition is required. Experience in healthcare talent acquisition, provider recruitment, sourcing, social media, and/or lead generation is preferred. Experience in high volume environment and across multiple specialties a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE: Minimum of 40 hours per week as needed.
