Millipore Material Control Operator in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Your Role:

The Material Control Operator will perform all duties necessary to receive, store, issue and package raw materials and assembled equipment in the storeroom area. Daily responsibilities include:  

  • Wrap, package, weigh, stencil and label materials and packaging
  • Count and collect materials using a pick list and deliver to manufacturing area, including transferring material to manufacturing, office, and cleanroom pass-through
  • Count inventory, package products and complete transactions in SAP and enter information in software systems
  • Pay rate: $30.87 per hour

Physical Attributes:

 

 

  • Work in a cleanroom work environment and wear PPE such as a cleanroom hair cover, face cover, cleanroom smock with Latex or Nitrile gloves
  • Up to 1 hour of sitting and performing transactions and data entry at a computer
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. and transfer weight at waist or knee height
  • Vertical lift of 30 lbs. to any height
  • Push and pull 200 lb. metal boxes on wheels
  • Stand and kneel on ergonomic mats over concrete
  • Step up on one step, lean over a tilting lift table
  • Full range of motion with arms and legs
  • Safe use of hand tools including hammers, saws, pneumatic stapler, and pneumatic nail gun

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

 

 

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

  • SAP/ERP, FedEx software, PC operation including Microsoft Office experience
  • 1+ year of experience with fork trucks or hand trucks
  • Prior experience with a 2-part chemical packaging foam dispenser
  • 1+ year of experience interpreting and following written and verbal work instructions
  • Self-starter, motivated
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Follows safety and process controls
  • Works well with changing priorities and tasks
