Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team in Allentown, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide service and assistance in all areas pertaining to human resources services

  • Assist with recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to meet staffing requirements at all levels

  • Perform various clerical and administrative tasks

  • Assist with current year HR strategies

  • Contribute to project work aligned to the field of Human Resources

Skills and Qualifications

  • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Computer proficiency

  • Excellent organizational and time management

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive situations and/or information

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills.

  • Good observation, critical thinking and analysis skills.
