Phoebe Ministries Chef de Cuisine Per Diem in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Phoebe Ministries is hiring a Per Diem Chef de Cuisine with long-term care experience to join our Allentown Campus.

Responsibilities: 

Responsible for producing all required menu items, per production systems, for preparation to transport to multiple serving areas and main dining venues. Performs culinary duties in main production kitchen. Follows set recipes and daily production worksheets. Coordinates the distribution of the prepared menu items for all special events, functions and daily for each meal at set times. Prepares food for all dining venues. Performs all duties while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Consistently meets food safety regulations while handling all food products and food storage.

Education and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two years of related experience and/or training in food production and service

  • Must be Serve-Safe certified or become Serve-Safe certified within probationary hire period.
