Salary $42,000 year

Then the Bilingual CareerLink Navigator position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented and caring individual to join our spirited team.

 

The Bilingual CareerLink Navigator will work to continuously improve and increase customer satisfaction with PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley services via telecommunication, social media, website applications and face-to-face customer interaction.

Responsibilities

· Assist and guide job seeker inquiries in navigating the workforce system

· Identify service needs of customers and support initial system engagement

· Answer and direct calls on the PA CareerLink® multi-line telephone system

· Assess customer needs, provide information and referrals and direct inquiries to appropriate workforce staff and/or programs

· Serve as a liaison between customers and workforce partners to provide optimal service

· Provide administrative support to include tracking and reporting of customer inquiries and resolution of concerns

· Outreach to program participants in post-placement phase to deliver and track follow up service

· Maintain Follow-up database by adhering to follow up timelines as specified by contractor

· Support Basic Career Services and satellite operations as needed for Welcome Center orientations, CRC, WIOA eligibility and administrative functions related to training

· Assist with customer tours of the CareerLink facility, highlight available services, and facilitate customer-specific navigation of the workforce system

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

· Experience in customer service, business and/or public relations preferred

· Ability to gather and synthesize information from a wide variety of people and sources

· Able to converse with the public and demonstrate a positive, professional attitude

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and basic computer skills required

· Current and valid driver's license required
