As an IS Solution Manager, Financial Technologies, you will lead our organization’s financial technology initiatives. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing financial systems. Your profound expertise in SAP BPC, Blackline, Hyperion, Workiva and other finance related applications will be instrumental in shaping our financial landscape and driving efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing solution implementation vendors, and ensuring seamless execution of projects. You will also coordinate with main stakeholders throughout the business, at various levels, to drive end-to-end delivery and completion. You will also provide leadership direction to Stryker team on best practices, reusability, release management and ensure smooth release of finance applications.

What You Will Do

  • ​​Collaborate with build leads/ key stakeholders and drive team to perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.

  • Work closely with System Integrator(s) to ensure alignment of key program activities and milestones for deployment and production releases.

  • Oversee and ensure completion of all business and program cut-over activities, while driving informed decision making for large cross-functional projects.

  • Align on Technical Designs, Prototypes/Mock-ups, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within the commercial application stack.

  • Create, coordinate and influence the deployment communication plans, including “Go Live” readiness, change management, cutover, and stabilization.

  • Manage and coordinate with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics.

  • Work with PMO, Delivery Leads, Process Leads, and Change management, develop standards, tools and systems to effectively and efficiently manage the deployment of the commercial products across Stryker divisions, functions, and regions.

  • Work closely with Service Delivery teams to ensure Build to Run smooth transition and handover processes.

  • Ensure timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks to ensure a smooth deployment process.

  • Develop and build robust integration with Infrastructure, Security, Governance, Service Delivery, etc.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other Delivery Leads, Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program.

  • Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent field of technical study preferred.

  • Minimum 8+ years of professional experience on software design, development and deployment required.

  • Minimum 5 years deploying or delivering finance solutions preferred.

  • Technical and solution design and configuration expertise in SAP BPC, Blackline or Hyperion preferred.

  • Collaborate with accounting teams / IT Business Partners to streamline processes, enhance controls, and automate workflows.

  • Ensure seamless integration with other systems (such as SAP S/4HANA) and data sources.

  • Experience implementing and customizing BlackLine solutions for financial close management, account reconciliation, and compliance preferred.

  • Experience with architecting Hyperion Planning for financial planning, reporting, and analysis preferred.

  • Experience architecting and provide technical expertise for Workiva ESG preferred.

  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure visibility for the current as well as future landscape to fit Stryker’s long-term needs.

  • Experienced in enterprise solution methodologies, preferably in both traditional waterfall and agile approaches preferred.

  • International experience and/or exposure working in other business functions preferred.
