Green Thumb Envir. Beaut. Inc Maintenance Position in Allegany, New York

Senior Employment Program is in need of Maintenance worker

Job duties are, but not limited to: Various beautification projects: Maintaining flowers, (planting pruning) General grounds chores (weed whacking, push mowing with grass removal, leaf blowing/ overall debris removal (weed, leaf, sticks), removal of trash (inside and outside {using Gator if needed}/debris/sweeping (parking lots, drives, grounds), check various places. Paint/stain stand-alone objects. Winter snow removal (push mower or shovel from entryways. Cleaning of interior/exterior will be expected. Sorting and inventorying of material and objects may be required. Green Thumper's may use their personal skills to be assistants to the State workers in completing repairs at the facility, in accordance with Green Thumb's written limitations. Reporting of vandalism is also expected. Green Thumper's are not to intervene in any circumstances and will report to their supervisor. The flag must also be flying. Subject to Medical Exam, Reference and criminal background checks.
