Supply Chain Operations Intern

  • Job Description: The Supply Chain Intern will assist the Global Supply Chain Planning team in various aspects related to forecasting, demand planning, Sales & Operations Planning, and Order Management. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and provides the opportunity to learn about end-to-end supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Work under the guidance of team member(s) to collect, analyze, and interpret sales, production, inventory, and order data to identify trends, outliers, gaps, and offer recommendations.

  • Demand & Inventory Planning: Support product phase ins/outs, forecast, and safety stock changes in planning system in accordance with commercial alignment.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels against targets, recommend gap closure tactics, and to perform root cause analysis on gaps/shortages.

  • Reporting: Develop/enhance reports and dashboards on alerts, key performance indicators (KPIs), and supply chain planning metrics

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools – Power BI, SQL etc.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

  • Experience: Previous internship or work experience in supply chain management or a related field is preferred but not required

  • The primary work location for this position is Aliso Viejo, CA (company headquarters).

  • Relocation may be available for qualified candidates.
