Amentum Logistics Specialist in Alice Springs, Australia

The position will be based primarily within the Tech Supply Warehouse facility and responsible for coordinating the logistics support of Tech Supply, including warehousing and distribution.

Essential Function

Coordinating a designate integrated Logistics Tem to deliver logistics tasks in support of Tech Supply operations and other specified logistics functions such as receiving and disposal of goods.

Coordinating effective information flow between assigned logistics personnel and management

Provide a high standard of timely customer-focused logistic supply services.

Provide a high standard of timely customer-focused logistic supply services and advice in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

Maintaining procedures for inventory control within the Tech Supply warehouse, and directly managing these functions in a hands-on manner.

Liaising with Logistics Team Leader to undertake projects to optimize inventory holdings and maintain stock levels.

Coordinating stocktaking activities within the Tech Supply warehouse. Overseeing the storage and handling of material, including the safe and efficient use of MHE.

Ensuring the effective goods receipts service within the Tech Supply Warehouse, with timely resolution of discrepancies, liaising with procurement personnel as required.

Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace.

Any other reasonable duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

  • The ability to lift items up to 10kgs independently

  • The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly.

STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

All personnel assigned shall be:

EHS REQUIREMENT
