Position is contingent upon contract award.

As the Regional Quality Assurance Manager , you will be responsible for the overall project Quality Management System program for the ACCOMS project. You will develop, implement, and administer an effective, economical, proactive Quality Management System (QMS).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages the Document Management System to ensure compliance to Customer and Corporate localized policies and procedures.

  • Creates project documentation related to area of responsibility, assists departments to define, develops and implements documentation for their functional areas.

  • Manages Contract Deliverables using the standard company system to ensure timely delivery of service to the customer.

  • Ensures a strong working relationship and interface to the Government’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and establishes an audit program to ensure operating conditions meet quality assurance specifications.

  • Inspects or oversees inspection of work-in-progress and completed work within assigned areas of the service contract; verify and document inspection results.

  • Interfaces directly with functional area managers, subcontractors, and Government Quality Assurance (including QA evaluators).

  • Investigates, analyzes and resolves quality deficiencies (i.e. Quality Control and Compliance Inspections) to ensure problems are corrected in a timely manner.

  • Analyzes results and coordinates with departments to resolve discrepancies; responds to deviations by assessing the impact on customer satisfaction, safety, and contractual compliance.

  • Assists functional and staff office Managers in developing specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as applicable.

  • Evaluates monthly performance metrics and provide trend analysis at Management Review.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or 10 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree) is required.

  • Must have five years of experience as a PM, Assistant PM, or QCM on a contract of similar size, scope, and complexity.

  • Must have five years of progressively increasing responsibility in developing, implementing and maintaining a Quality Program.

  • Must have five years of experience in the management or supervision of a Quality Control program, preferably in a Government contracting environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in a Quality capacity in a contingency environment that supported DoD is required.

  • Demonstrated performance with implementing and managing an ISO registered program is required.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certified

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Must have the ability to lead teams and interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.

  • Must have the ability to build metric management programs to improve operations.

  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and persuasive skills is required.

  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office applications to include Visio, Excel and Powerpoint is required.

  • Knowledge of general DoD contracting is preferred.
