ABOUT THIS POSITION

The successful Software Engineer candidate will be part of the distributed KBR team supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Chief Data Office. TRMC provides weapons systems testing capabilities for U.S. warfighters. TRMC supports thousands of personnel at over 1300 test facilities across nine time zones.

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Data Officer, providing software development capability to the CDO organization. Transparency and documentation will be second to none.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in web applications; database design; data systems design; database user interfaces; and visualization of data, metadata, and data system flows.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Development of

  • Metadata systems to make test and evaluation systems discoverable, understood, integrated, and accessible to authorized users.

  • Automation of metadata ingest.

  • User interfaces to TRMC databases.

  • Automation of self-serve data ingest.

  • Data and metadata visualization.

  • AI algorithms.

  • Support for test range data users.

  • Engineering design documentation.

  • Software advisor to the CDO and Deputy CDO.

  • Collaboration with DoD and industry partners.

Requirements

Education:

  • BS or greater in computer science.

    Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in software engineering.

    Clearance

  • Must be eligible for TS/SCI.
