Waste Connections CDL Driver in Alexandria, Louisiana

We are seeking a safety conscious CDL Driver to join our team in Alexandria, LA . In this role, you will be responsible for operating a garbage truck on residential and/or commercial routes. The position is physically demanding and the requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays

  • Start time: Between 3:30 AM - 5:00 AM

  • Workweek: 45-55 hours

  • Typical workday: 10-12 hours

Compensation:

  • Starting pay: $20/hr.

  • Comprehensive benefits package including family benefits, 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match, vacation, and year-round overtime

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License

  • Minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience

  • Strong customer service skills
