KBR is seeking an Operations Support/ Data Manager to support the Hemisphere Task Order (TO) delivering services to support SSC/SZ. This role can support the program out of our El Segundo or Alburquerque locations. As a member of our Hemisphere team, you’ll work in a high-paced environment with Space Force personnel, support contractors, and system developers. In this role you will perform Ops Support, Security, and Data Management tasks to include scheduling, tracking, and submitting deliverables.

Major duties of this position include:

  • Supports Hemisphere Security and Configuration Management (CM) teams in all aspects of program, personnel, and processes to deliver exceptional quality products to the Government

  • Assists and streamlines preparation of security plans, reviewing applicable guidelines, and established procedures for all areas of security to include Information Security, Physical/Technical Security, Classification Management, Communication Security (COMSEC), and Program Security

  • Prepares, submits and maintains personnel security packages for Special Access Programs (SAPs)

  • Supports facility and network security actions, inspections and daily activities

  • Swiftly executes corrective measures to address security concerns raised by the Government or team members

  • Updates and collaborates with Hemisphere leadership on Security action items and activities

  • Works with CM manager to develop a numbering/identification (ID) scheme for classified deliverables

  • Prepares weekly program briefings and presents at program staff meetings for all security matters

  • Actively supports CM team on data management and sharing in platforms (i.e. Confluence, Sharepoint, Jira)

  • Coordinates and collaborates with CM team to track and manage the Government’s written acceptance, comments, and/or change requests against classified deliverables

Qualifications

Required:

  • BS degree in a related science or engineering field (information technology, information security, security management, cybersecurity, computer engineering) and 10 years of experience

  • CompTIA+ certification in Security, Data, or DataSys

  • Active TS SCI clearance

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Sensitive Compartment Information and/or Special Access Acquisition Programs within the DoD

  • Expert in Defense Information Security Services (DISS) and JADE database or the legacy Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)

  • Motivated individual who is a self-starter and works well in a dynamic team environment

  • Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio

  • Highly knowledgeable in navigating within shared cloud environments (Google Docs, Sheets, Sharepoint)

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in a related science or engineering field (systems engineering, cybersecurity, security management) and 12 years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs

  • Skilled in navigating through physical and personnel security processes

  • CISSP, CISM certifications

  • CDSE Level 2

This salary target range is if for the stat on California area only

$150,000……………$175,000

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
