Summary

The Project Analyst manages a wide variety of moderately complex activities in support of project or program planning. Performs detailed analysis and interpretation of moderately complex data from various business systems or external data sources. Assists in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting activities, and special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities include data analysis, process improvement, project management, strategic planning administration, training, risk management. Tracking of strategic goals through A3 methodology, targets to improve tracking, scorecard updates, and support continuous improvement. Participates in the strategic planning activities of the organization. Facilitation/preparation of monthly management reviews such as KPI reviews, MORs, financial reviews, etc. This role with be the lead for comparative data for the New Mexico Operations site. Work closely with senior leadership team and functional leaders. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Teams

  • Ability to identify and make recommendations for resolution of project related problems utilizing analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communications skills; ability to effectively interface and build strong relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Demonstrated skills in organization and problem solving.

  • Detail oriented; possess professional presence, maturity and judgment

You Must Have

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q level security clearance.

  • Bachelor degree preferred with 2-4 years of experience in a directly related field or 4+ years of directly related experience required in lieu of Bachelor degree

  • May perform other duties as assigned
