Position Details:

  • Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday {Night Shift} 1PM – 11PM.

  • Work schedule may alternate to first or second shift for effective training and onboarding in the first 90-days.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Night Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations including shipping and receiving of a variety of products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing warehouse layout, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient processes to meet customer demands. The Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing safety protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to maximize productivity, improve efficiency and accuracy and reduce cost.

  • Manage and lead a team of 50+ associates and supervisors across an assigned production shift to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.

  • Partner with Transportation Manager to ensure the highest level of efficiency within the overall operation. Ensure trucks are unloaded/loaded properly on an accurate and timely basis by overseeing workload scheduling and delivery of product in the warehouse. May operate powered material handling equipment in some locations.

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and coordinate with inventory and procurement team around low stock items, seasonal swings, product returns, and customer promotions.

  • Ensures building and equipment are maintained through supervising personnel in maintenance and repair activities.

  • Enforce workplace safety standards and procedures to create a safe working environment including reinforcement of safety programs, safety meetings, and workers’ compensation discussions.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to meet customer requirements and resolve any issues.

  • Ensures customers are notified of stock shortages by providing information to Customer Service Representatives, Warehouse Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager regarding shortages, available substitutes, and recording all information.

  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.

  • Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
