Canvas Inc. Modeling and Simulation Analyst 2TS+ in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Analyst 2TS

  • Location: Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, New Mexico

    Canvas, Inc. provides services to a diverse group of customers in the areas of Test and Evaluation, Engineering Services, Program & Acquisition Management, and Product Integration. We are currently seeking a full-time Modeling and Simulation Analyst. This position is contingent upon award.

    Duties:

  • Modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil agencies.

  • Simulation shall include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools.

  • Conduct M&S activities in support of the analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government, to include information exchange and coordination for model capabilities, technical standards, interoperability and reuse, model and simulation support planning, model and simulation data and architecture management, configuration management, development and verification, validation, and accreditation.

  • Provides supervision and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.

  • May support live, constructive, or virtual training.

  • Utilizes RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas. Modeling software includes:

  • GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), Other modeling and simulation programs as needed.

    Education/Experience:

  • BSBA required.

  • TS/SCI clearance required.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience conducting modeling and simulation activities in support of analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments.
