Information Systems Specialist Junior JNWC

Qualifications:

KBR is seeking an Information Systems Specialist Junior to join our team in Albuquerque, NM; You will provide advice and support to Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the preparation, review and consolidation of client information systems, budgets, acquisitions and business plans. Ensures adherence to budgets and business plans through periodic review of financial reports and capital appropriation requests. Provide assistance for proposing, implementing and enforcing policies, standards and methodologies. Install, configure, and maintain GOV systems. Determine and document system requirements. Provide system management and database administration support. Coordinate system, cyber security, and database administration efforts, as needed. Maintain systems/applications of GOV systems. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; install, upgrade, and/or sustain software. Performa preventive and corrective maintenance and maintain DoD Information Assurance compliance. Install, configure and maintain systems backup and recovery. Support GOV and perform required IA-related functions contributing to achievement of an Authority to Operate (ATO), Authority to Connect (ATO), and/or Site Accreditation and/or efforts to sustain/maintain accreditation. Support systems field support and deployment efforts. Accomplish and support configuration control of IT/Enterprise systems. Accomplish and support ancillary support effort, including Telephone Control Officer, Data Transfer Agent, Unit Software License Manager, IT Equipment Custodian. Accomplish and provide support to Video Telecommunications and Telephone Conferencing systems. Perform and accomplish data administration efforts. Perform and provide systems user training and proficiency training on IT-related systems, applications, and equipment. Create, edit, review, and provide training using “How-To” and troubleshooting guides and procedures. Position may require on-call and shift work.

    Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred)

  • DoD 8570.01M baseline certification and those required for position held and systems supported

  • 0 – 5 Years Professional Experience

    Clearance: TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position
