Information Systems Specialist Junior JNWC

KBR is seeking an Information Systems Specialist - Intermediate to join our team in Albuquerque, NM; You will provide advice and support to Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) activities.

Responsibilities:

Support IT security program and procedures to protect information and resources in accordance with DoD IT security regulations and directives. This includes implementation of firewalls, antivirus software, networking monitoring applications, and active intrusion detection systems.

· Configure desktop and notebook computers based on requirements.· Install software on computers;· Monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot the computer networks.· Assist in creation of IT short and long term requirements documents.· Assist with software approval and procurement.· Process requirements for telecommunication equipment and procure equipment as necessary.· Operate the IT help desk and respond to trouble tickets· Install, operate and maintain the Local Area Network (LAN) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems ranging from unclassified to TS/SCI/SAP levels.· Unclassified and classified IT systems, processes, and procedures to support operations.· Maintain an inventory of all IT hardware and software.· Maintain IT security measures to include ATO/RMF paperwork.· Maintain and manage websites, databases, and applications.· Coordinate IT services, requirements, etc. with Kirtland AFB IT services.· Coordinate, monitor and document configuration control and change management functions.
