BlueHalo, LLC Digital Signal Processing Engineer in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Overview

BlueHalo is seeking mid-career Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineers in Albuquerque to work on challenging, leading-edge designs for immediate openings.

The qualified candidates will have demonstrated expertise with MATLAB System Generator for DSP with HDL Coder. All skills, from initial design, to modeling, to simulation, to implementation.

Selected candidates joining our team will work in Albuquerque side-by-side with our DSP team. All firmware team members, particularly DSP team members, will serve as mentors to the successful candidates joining the team.

You’d like to do this

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge digital signal processing (DSP) technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize DSP designs for performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.

  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with DSP systems.

  • Responsible for the modeling, simulation, and implementation of complex DSP concepts and techniques enabling next generation digital beamformed phased array antennas.

You’re required to have this

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in digital signal processing engineering.

  • Expertise in DSP design, analysis, and simulation.

  • Expertise in configuring and using Xilinx hardware primitives (DSP slices) and DSP component tools including the Xilinx FIR and DDS compilers to realize functional DSP designs.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new DSP technologies and methodologies.

  • Experience using MATLAB System Generator for DSP with HDL coder on integration on Xilinx RFSoC FPGA is a plus.
