You’d like to do this

BlueHalo is seeking a Computer Systems Analysts to join our IT Team and assist the team in coordinating, planning, and implementing of technology-related initiatives and supporting our company operations. The Computer Systems Analysts will report directly to our IT Director.

  • Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.

  • Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal function.

  • Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.

  • Provide users with assistance solving computer-related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.

  • Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system.

  • Train users to work with computer systems and programs.

  • Read Manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet user needs.

  • Coordinate software and hardware installations.

  • Configure computer networks.

  • Analyze data to identify or resolve operational problems.

  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.

  • Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement.

You’re required to have this

  • Currently earning or obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college plus 2 years of relevant experience or in 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • United States citizenship required

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with commonly used technologies and softwareincluding, but not limited to: Microsoft Office 365, Windows and Mac operating systems, networkprinting, and application supportAbility to work independently and with a team, identify areas where improvement is needed, andidentify and implement solutionsA security-minded approach to all IT effortsExcellent time management skillsWillingness to support end-users with all IT related issues, including after hours on-call supportStrong communication (both written and verbal) and technical documentation skillsFamiliarity with basic networking concept

  • Able to obtain and maintain a United States Department of Defense Security Clearance.
