Robert Half Associate Vendor Manager in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico


About the Role” or “About the Team”:

As an Associate Vendor Manager, you’ll be an integral member of the Vendor Management team and work closely with our local market teams to help source, onboard, train, offboard, and maintain strategic relationships with our vendor partners. Your role will help enable operational excellence and cost savings through vendor capacity and quality.

Job Duties As an Associate Vendor Manager, you will:

-Drive the execution of national initiatives in the markets via vendor management

-Use strategic and creative judgement in solving problems and bottlenecks to determine the most appropriate resolution path for vendor enablement

-Own vendor management within assigned markets from top to bottom and ensure the business goals are being met

-Problem solve to set up or block/unblock vendors while leveraging our internal systems for use by the local team

-Field quality control questions from vendors and local teams; resolve issues by owning decisions and/or escalate as appropriate

-Gather relevant vendor data to develop reports and use the same to build new functionality

-Conduct vendor training and onboarding (set-up accounts, troubleshoot portal technical issues; handle vendor offboarding when required).

-Communicate with vendors, local market teams, and other internal stakeholders for the purpose of sourcing, training, troubleshooting, providing feedback, and completing other tasks as required by the Vendor Management team.


Required Experience/Education/Skills:

-Vendor sourcing and management experience

-Computer literate with the ability to work with Google Suite Applications

-The ability to perform multiple, detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Objective, task, and deadline oriented

-A deep knowledge of construction, repairs, and renovation projects

-A team-first mentality and eagerness to set & meet aggressive goals

Preferred Experience/Education

-2-4 years vendor management experience Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
