Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking an Advanced Electrical & Controls Engineer for our Broomfield, CO or Albuquerque, NM locations.

The salary range for this position is ($93,600.00 - $140,000.00). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Drafting electrical schematics, control panel drawings, bills of materials, & specifications

  • Designing, testing, and maintaining industrial control panels

  • Troubleshooting process controls, electrical equipment, sensors, valves, motors, & drives

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Industrial Electrical or Controls Engineering

  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance

  • Proficiency in Solidworks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent 2D electrical CAD software

  • Knowledge of industrial control panel wiring practices and relevant electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A, etc.)

WE VALUE:

  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting using standard electrical test equipment

  • Basic mechanical understanding/aptitude, comfortable using simple hand tools

  • Familiarity with PLC/DCS and HMI configuration

  • Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 programming languages (ladder, structured text, function block diagram)

  • Knowledge of industrial process controls and product lifecycle

  • Experience designing and configuring industrial communications networks
