HIRING BONUS $1,500 ABOUT THE COMPANY Mrs. Gerry s was founded in 1973 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Mrs. Gerry s is a premier salad and side manufacturer and offers 120 different products which are sold coast to coast. We are looking for great team members who desire a friendly work environment and want to learn how we create delicious fresh potato salad, warm mashed potatoes, cold pasta salads, zesty dips and more. Our products enable families and friends to celebrate around the dinner or picnic table every day. STARTING WAGE: $18.40 per hour HOURS: 2:00pm-10:30pm (end time may vary due to business needs) DAYS: Monday through Friday SUMMARY Team members are cross trained in various positions to ensure Mrs. Gerry s products are packaged with care and to the highest quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform activities as required by HACCP and SQF safety programs. Label, box, and palletize products. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Wear required personal protective equipment stated in policies. Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures. Cross train in other operational areas. All other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DUTIES May need to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, stoop, kneel, twist, utilize stairs, etc. Able to use hands to perform tasks associated with the position. Alert to surroundings to ensure safety for self and others. Able to hear the horn of a forklift, machinery, individuals providing instructions, emergency sirens, and more. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and adjust eyesight to focus. Cut and core vegetables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS May need to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license. WORK ENVIRONMENT Characteristic of a manufacturing facility. Cool temperatures due to perishable product manufacturing. Noise level is moderate and hearing protection is required.
