About the role:

The Engineering NPD is responsible for assisting and leading on a variety of projects relating to our X-ray analyzers that are designed and assembled on-site in East Greenbush, NY. Our analyzers provide element by element concentration analysis that improve public safety, help customers meet environmental regulations and improve efficiency. The candidate for this position should have a background with mechanical product design, problem solving techniques and experience in a manufacturing environment.

This position is part of the Engineering department located in East Greenbush and will be on-site.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and development of our X-Ray Elemental Analyzers.

  • Lead and collaborate on projects and report the progress of assigned work.

  • Discover high quality solutions to challenging problems.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of project related documentation.

  • Demonstrate good judgement while balancing business and customer needs. Exhibits attention to detail, with a risk management focus and timely execution.

Are you qualified?

  • 3-8 years work experience on the design and development of products. Applicable and relevant co-op experience included.

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have worked in design for manufacturing.

  • Practical knowledge/experience in other engineering disciplines that could include electrical engineering, programming, data analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required with an entry level understanding of inventory management practices and procedures. A degree in supply chain or engineering is preferred.

  • Ability to lead meetings, report on project status, complete test reports.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in N. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
