This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Cost Reviewer / Office Assistant (Contract Management) for our Clients Office in Albany, New York.
Be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Provide assistance to New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Project Manager as directed
Review specs, bidding contracts, preparing documentation for contract award
Provide assistance for consultant and cost plus payment reviews
Assist vendors and other D&C staff with payment submission questions and issues
Experience as a project cost reviewer or with experience in tracking costs.
Provide payment information to client agencies
Provide general assistance and support to the Division of Contract Management Group
Provide assistance working within our SDVOB goal program
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience to include construction contract payment and some accounting experience
High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience with computers, word, excel, Bluebeam, outlook.
Ability to maintain files.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to implement office procedures
Attend job meetings and prepare accurate minutes, draft correspondence for review
Able to create simple calculating spreadsheets and print out reports as required.
Demonstrate ability to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct.
Proven ability to adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
This role is subject to a client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy. As such, employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests. A copy of the client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy will be provided during employee onboarding and is available upon applicant request.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates Degree
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
Proficient with web-based submittal collaboration systems

Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Outlook programs
Compensation and Benefits:
WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
Expected Salary: $37,400 - $67,500
WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
