Linen Worker - St. Peter's Hospital - Full Time Days

What you will do:
Performs linen handling functions including cart preparation, distribution of clean linen to user departments, pack making and soiled linen pick-up.
Cleaning and sweeping the floor in the department
Cleaning linen carts
Changing linen cart wheels
Use of computers – to run linen reports
Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
Fill linen carts
Deliver linen carts to various floors or locations
Pick up soiled linen from the various floors
Fold OR green scrubs
Deliver the scrubs to the designated Scrub machine locations
Fill and load the scrub machines in various locations
Put Green OR packs together (SAMARITAN)
Unloading the linen carts from Linen company
Use Handhelds to do linen cart counts
What you will need:
Must be able to respond appropriately to written and verbal instructions.
Computer knowledge desired
