Description

The Behavioral Health Clinician will maintain a caseload offering behavioral/psychological services to both the residential and day program component to ensure consistency in behavioral health services between settings. This position also requires the ability to develop and oversee behavioral treatment plans through functional analysis that are person centered using Trauma Informed approaches and evidenced based interventions. The behavioral health clinician will be involved in providing clinical trainings to programs within the agency in addition to providing counseling and group supports within the department.

Ideally, the Behavioral Health Clinician should have a good knowledge of work with a dually diagnosed population including basic knowledge of psychopharmacology as well as differential diagnosis in this population.

Other responsibilities include; staff training, adjunct committee work, coordination of human rights packets and other regulatory duties

The Behavioral Health Clinician will be responsible for implementing support plans as well as monitoring and reporting on behavioral data and providing supportive counseling where needed as outlined in the behavior plans.

Requirements

This position requires a master’s degree from accredited college/university in social work with license eligibility (LCSW). The position also requires one-year of experience working with an ID/DD population
