For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.

We are searching for a Behavioral Specialist to join our Residential team. The successful candidate will b ecome part of a dedicated team of staff and a behavioral services team of experienced clinicians.Flexible, 37.5 hour a week scheduleCompensation for this position is $25.21- $30.15 per hour. Commensurate on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home consultation and behavioral support to individuals and their families

  • Documentation for such services needs to adhere to regulation and programmatic requirements

  • Work with individuals and their families to develop and follow behavioral programs that ameliorate behavioral problems

  • Model implementation of behavior support plans, support the implementation, and train as needed

  • Excellent supervision offered

Requirements:

  • Experience with behavioral intervention and developmental disabilities helpful

  • Masters in related field of psychology/MSW required

  • Must have valid NYS driver’s license in good standing

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs minimum
