Lindsay Precast, Inc. Project Manager in Alachua, Florida

Summary:

Under direction of the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will complete drawings using CAD and ensure that goals of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. You will be the advocate for the customer while overseeing projects the most cost effective, efficient way for the company.

Essential Functions:

Prioritize goals and objectives, adhere to deadlines, and recommend and implement solutions for changes and improvements

Uphold highest quality of customer service, resolving problems, completing audits, determining improvements, and implementing change.

Uses computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software to develop designs.

Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings).

Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.

Sketches rough layout of product and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and location of holes. Interface with customers on inquiries.

Assist in meeting sales objectives.

Maintain quality service by following organization standards.

Maintain safety by adhering to organization standards.

Attend meetings to present updates and status.

Will have direct involvement with shop personnel to build projects up to company standards.

Note: Other duties and special projects as requested.

Minimum Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar field is preferred, or the candidate must possess equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.

Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.

Experience in Precast Concrete or Contruction is a plus!

This is an excellent entry level position for a recent college Grad.
