Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Site Engineer (Structural) to join our team! In this role you will have the opportunity to performs a variety of structural design review and field engineering assignments by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses.

What You'll be Doing:

  • This role represents the first exempt-level position where the Site Structural Engineer exercises discretion and independent judgment regularly, demonstrating increasing proficiency in applying engineering knowledge to complete assignments. You are expected to have prior design and field experience, completing tasks with growing expertise and providing guidance to craft and lower-level technical personnel as needed. Flexibility to relocate to construction site locations is essential.

  • Conducting well-defined design review and field engineering tasks, focusing on constructability reviews and monitoring work progress.

  • Ensuring quality assurance to verify installations align with plans, specifications, and industry standards within your discipline.

  • Resolving technical engineering problems and coordinating solutions within your assigned discipline.

  • Interpreting discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision levels and accurate technical execution.

  • Maintaining communication with discipline design engineering staff and monitoring discipline construction schedules.

  • Overseeing material procurement and deliveries to support construction activities on schedule.

  • Performing tests, witnessing inspections, and documenting results in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Collaborating with construction management to mitigate hazards and ensure safe work practices among assigned personnel.

  • Keeping a daily log of project construction activities and discipline-specific data for project turnover.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Civil Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in structural design review and general inspection related to construction tasks such as soils, concrete, mechanical, or electrical, preferably within road infrastructure projects in the Gulf region.

  • Specialist services supporting project requirements.

  • Proficiency in computer literacy to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and use project-specific engineering and construction software, including BIM knowledge.

  • Excellent English proficiency in both written and spoken communication, particularly in technical writing.

  • MME Certification is compulsory.

  • Working knowledge of engineering and construction processes, familiarity with industry practices, and proficiency in CAD and BIM and other PC software packages associated with engineering and construction.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Familiarity with applicable structural codes, standards, and specifications, particularly in the Gulf region.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate specific activities, disciplines, or teams of moderate size and complexity.
