The role.

• Leads on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance services of Siemens (Innomotics) MV variable frequency drives such as GH180,GH150, GM150 and LV/MV Motos and systems of a most complex nature.

• Leads most complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans, including planning, executing and conducting field trials.

• Leads the maintenance of most complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.

• Leads the development of the training for other members of the service department and customers to maintain and adjust most complex equipment Siemens(Innomotices) MV variable frequency drives, LV/MV Motors) and system.

• Leads the review of retrofit project plans, drawings and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout project duration.

• Serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise..

• Performs leading-edge areas of work (R&D, processes, etc.) for the professional field, by pre-empting potential problems and providing effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge or processes.

• Monitors optimal utilization of tools related to service such as SIROT, ASSIST etc.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6-8 years relevant experience required in servicing VFDs, Motors, Switchgear, Protection Relays. Advanced degree may be substituted for experience where applicable.

• Education: Holding a B.S. degree in Engineering or related discipline.

• Project management or project lead experience required.

• Demonstrated ability to lead others in a relevant technical area.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with international/inter-, intra-company workgroups.

• Experience in SIEMENS MV Drives, Motors, and Switchgear.

• Training: Industry specific training or certification may be required in some areas.

• Other criteria: Business travel required.
