Job Description (Tank Design)

  • Have 15+ years of extensive experience in the design and engineering of Large aboveground storage tanks for cryogenic/refrigerated and non-refrigerated services in the fields of Oil & Gas Production/Refinery/ Petrochemical industries; experience in the former category is a must.

  • Have experience in FEED & Detailed Design types of projects involving above tanks; Experience in revamping and upgrade of the above equipment will be an added advantage.

  • Experience in using software such as AMETank /Tank or equivalent will be desirable.

  • Have deep knowledge of API 620, API 625, API 650, API 2510 and other relevant international standards regarding tanks

  • Have sound knowledge in the selection of materials and Corrosion Control Measures for tanks in the above applications.

  • Have strong knowledge about the insulations for tanks and other tank accessories.

  • Have sound knowledge about the construction, commissioning, operation and control philosophies of the above tanks

  • be capable of leading a team of engineers in the design of tanks.

The following will be added advantages:

  • Experience in the designing of other static equipment such as Vessels, Columns, Bullets, Sphere and Packages

  • Knowledge of applying value engineering concepts in the design of tanks.
