ManpowerGroup Treasury Consultant in Akron, Ohio

Our client, a Global Chemical Manufacturer based in Akron, OH is seeking a Treasury Consultant to join their team for a 3-month Contract Engagement. We need an experienced Treasury Manager to fulfill the day-to-day responsibilities for what the client describes as an "Operational Treasury" role: a person who has been in treasury in the past in both the operational side/details (do daily cash/interaction with accounting) and the higher level side (liquidity planning.) The ideal would be someone with 10-12 years treasury experience as a Manager of Treasury or Assistant Treasurer with an Operational focus.

This project can be done on a hybrid basis (some on-site work, but mostly remote for anyone who is too far from Akron to commute on a regular basis.)

Job Title: Treasury Consultant

Location: Akron, Ohio

Projected Duration: 3 Months

What’s Needed?

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.

  • 10-12 years of experience as a Manager of Treasury or Assistant Treasurer with an Operational focus.

  • Experience with liquidity, cash management and cash forecasting.

  • Experience with SAP (or similar ERP system.)

  • Compliance, ethics and internal control mindset.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
